Qualitative forms of Spatial Knowledge
As Professor for Digital/Cultural Geography, my work focusses on the application of digital geographical information and analytical methods to a range of contemporary societal issues, primarily in the applied fields of human rights and environmental health.
With my team in the Geoinformation & Society Research Group, we focus on methodological and epistemological challenges in the areas of:
- Methodological development and optimisation
- Real-world application of spatial knowledge and information
- Critical interrogation and reflection of these data forms, methods, and epistemologies
My prior work centred on the intersections of spatial epidemiology, critical GIScience, and applied geospatial analysis.
