How often do you have the opportunity to improve your soft skills and social competencies during your studies whileworking in an international and interdisciplinary team?
With FAUMUN, you have the chance to engage in real-worldinternational relations and experience multiliteracy first hand.
Our preparatory programs and the participation in simulationsof the UN, called Model United Nations (MUN) conferences,allows you to discover the every day life of diplomats, acquireintercultural competences, as well as demonstrate your organizational and time management skills. Further, FAUMUN boosts your self-confidence and challenges you to hone your capabilities in difficult and demanding situations.
Our FAUMUN Blockseminar is a timely to two blockseminar weekends condensed program that follows the same concept as the FAUMUN Delegation: it introduces you to the realm of international diplomacy and allows you a glimpse into the world of Model UN, while gaining all necessary knowledge about the UN system. You join the FAUMUN Delegation for MUN conferences in Nuremberg and Erlangen.
As part of the FAUMUN Delegation, you will engage in weekly seminar sessions, additional training weekends, and extensive practise opportunities at MUN conferences in Erlangen, Nuremberg, Bamberg, and Erfurt, and graduate as FAUMUN alumni by visiting a UN city such as New York or Rome where your final MUN conference will take place with over 2,000 international delegates from more than 400 universities, where you present one of the 193 Member States of the UN together with your fellow FAUMUN delegates in various committees.
